RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. The Bantam final is open to all breeds of True & Rare True Bantam Breeding Pairs
i.e. Belgian, Dutch, Japanese, Pekin, Rosecomb, Sebright, Booted, Nankin &
Ohiki.
2. No more than two pairs from each qualifying show will be eligible to compete in
the final.
3. Individual competitors may qualify no more than one pair for the final.
4. Chickens qualifying for entry in the final may not be entered in any other
classes at Swinford Show.
5. The chickens must be penned in the cages provided at the show grounds by
10.30am.
6. Winners to be announced at 2pm
7. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules
and Swinford Agricultural Show Rules.
8. No bedding allowed in show cages
9. Exhibitors must be owners and be present at the final
Entry Fee To Qualifying Show €3. To Final €6
Prizes: 1st €200, 2nd €150, 3rd €100, 4th €60, 5th €40, 6th €30, 7th to end €20
FINAL: SWINFORD SHOW Sunday 25th August 2024
Vouchers to the value may be given in some classes.
Classes may be cancelled or combined depending on entries.
All birds must be caged by 11.30am Judging commences at 12 noon
No entries to be removed from pens before 4.30pm
The welfare of all exhibits is the responsibility of the owner and no exhibitor is to leave poultry enclosure until all birds are caged.
No entries permitted on day of event.
