DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR POULTRY

Restrictions on the movement of poultry and captive birds may vary depending on the international and local situation with regard to Avian Influenza.  Therefore, show organisers should contact the local RVO prior to organising an event to confirm whether any restrictions are in place at the time of the show.

Vouchers to the value may be given in some classes.
Classes may be cancelled  or combined depending on entries.
All birds must be caged by 11.30am Judging commences at 12 noon
No entries to be removed from pens before 4.30pm
The welfare of all exhibits is the responsibility of the owner and no exhibitor is to leave poultry enclosure until all birds are caged.
